Friends of Art Members’ Art Walk
Sunday, September 15th , 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Castle of Perseverance north of the UNO’s Weber Fine Arts Building (WFAB) - in case of rain, meet in the WFAB Art Gallery.
Join Friends of Art Members for a stroll through UNO’s Dodge campus while taking in its collection of public art. Led by Robert Carlson, Ph.D., UNO Professor Emeritus and former Department of Art and Art History Chair. The FOA Members’ Art Walk will feature some of UNO’s most beloved works of art and more recent additions to UNO’s public art collection. Get to know fellow Friends of Art members and learn about our role in supporting UNO’s Art and Art History program.
The FOA Members’ Art Walk will leave the Castle of Perseverance at 5:45pm and spend an hour winding its way through Dodge Campus and return to the north foyer of the Weber Fine Arts Building for complimentary refreshments. Accommodations will be made in case of rain and for persons with disabilities.

Friends of Art (FOA) serves as an advisory/support group to the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Its function is to assist in the identification and development of programs to maintain, enhance, and expand the visual arts mission in education, in the community, and in the field of art.
Specific areas of concentration include collaborative community efforts, educational enhancements, resource development, program advocacy, public relations, and increased visibility for UNO’s visual arts program.
